I am back! You probably wondered where I went, or you have no idea I was there to begin with -
either way, I am back to the world of blogging and very happy to here.
I have two new projects right now that I am promising to commit to :
meditate daily and blog daily (I hope).
Both are incredibly good for my mental health and both will make a big
difference in my life. The only thing I have to do is suppress my
lazy gene. The lazy gene is real and I
was born with one that was overdeveloped. I have learned through the years to pummel my
lazy gene into submission because if I don’t, I end up being miserable. Don’t be fooled by that temporary feeling of
happiness the lazy gene provides, it is only temporary and it is so much better
to be alive. Don’t get me wrong I value that the body needs rest, and I am happy to accommodate that
– it just doesn’t need rest 24 hours a day 7 days a week (even though mine
wants to).
As I mentioned in my opening sentence, I am not entirely new
to blogging. I have made several attempts and have 2 abandoned blogs and one
non-abandoned blog which I managed right up until I went into labor. I will be honest that pregnancy blog wasn’t a
daily blog, and was pretty sporadic but it gave me a small taste of blogging.
My hope is that this blog will appeal to you in some shape or form. I too am a
wife, a mom, a sister, a daughter, a friend, a slight health nut, and here is the downer - I work full time (in a DESK JOB!!
B-o-r-i-n-g!!) .
Sound familiar? Part of it? None of it ? Well, get lost
then!!!
Sarcasm is always hard to read isn’t it?
I started out writing today hoping that I would have some
sort of theme to this blog. I am always looking for a theme in my writing
but frankly my life is a mish-mash of everything and therefore it is only
appropriate that this mish-mash of a blog be born. Welcome to the world! Good
luck getting your body back!
So without further adieu welcome to me…but I am so much more
than a me…welcome to wee (get it? I promise not to use any more puns…today…)
